Wet area falls preparation
Wet areas need the right falls to the drain before the membrane goes down. FCPR's wet area preparation covers:
- Preparing showers, balconies and wet zones for membrane works
- Correcting surface falls and local low points
- Creating cleaner bases around drains and set-downs
- Coordinating the surface finish for follow-on waterproofing
Podium and roof falls rectification
On podiums and roof areas where drainage, ponding or presentation needs improvement, FCPR builds falls and corrects low spots around drains, then patches, skims and shapes the concrete so it is ready for waterproofing. The work can be carried out across open roof and podium areas in support of the project team ahead of membrane installation.
Shapes that support the membrane
Waterproofing details often depend on concrete shape as much as falls. FCPR also adjusts fillets and upturn radiuses where the formed shape needs a cleaner transition, blending the repair into the surrounding concrete. Builders and concreters can send the areas and drawings through the quote form to have substrate falls checked and corrected.
